Literally couldn't make it to the venue
The Senses Fail put on such a great show that it's worth traveling like we did, just to see it! If you ever have a chance to see them, take the opportunity. This review mostly has nothing to do with the show itself.
On this night, however, we were walking from the train station to the venue and we got a block away and got stuck in the biggest human traffic jam I've ever seen. In fact, this part of the city seems to always be crowded, but I've never seen this sort of thing before. I still don't know what was going on there. The street, the corners, all of it was jam-packed like sardines. I had seen them twice before in years past and they are certainly worth seeing multiple times. This was to be my third time visiting Radio City Music Hall to see the Senses Fail.
We managed to go down I think it was 49th street and thought we'd cross the street there and approach the venue from the other side. It took us about half an hour to try to make our way out of that crowd. We couldn't even cross the street. We got stuck again! It was pretty intense, and we were afraid for our safety, so we pushed the other way and made it out and stopped trying, and headed back to the train station. Again, this isn't their fault. It's just what happened to us at this particular time.
